The spirit of competition is alive and well at Taste of the Town. Every year, restaurants vie for the honor of winning Best Entree or Best Dessert in a double-blind judging system. In addition to that, restaurants also compete for Best Booth Design hope the general public awards them with a People's Choice or Kid's Choice Award.

COMMUNITY CRUSADER AWARD
This year, we have added a new award - The Community Crusader Award is a special award, commissioned by the 2008 (25th Annual) Taste of the Town Committee to honor an individual in the restaurant industry who has exuded the same qualities of excellence and a life of service beyond self that has long been a tradition at Saint Andrew Catholic School.

Also, we have enlisted the aid of Monica Ricci from HGTV's Mission: Organization this year to assist us with the selection of our Booth Design Awards. She will bring her expertise in organization as it relates to the overall booth theme to determine who will win this highly coveted prize!
